Yin yoga is a practice of longer held poses designed to deeply stretch the connective tissues of the body, build a deep connection between the body and mind, reduce energetic blocks and strengthen the flow of prana throughout the body.

The practice of holding a pose for an extended period of time allows the mind to observe uncomfortable emotions, thoughts or physical sensations as they arise in the body. This observation period helps strengthen the communication between the physical, energetic and spiritual bodies. Whilst the body and mind are surrendered in a restorative state, it is a very effective time to receive reiki energy.

Reiki is a noninvasive ancient healing modality, originated from Japanese culture, that channels universal energy. The energy simultaneously removes blockages from the Chakras while minimizing stress, physical pain, and emotional burdens. This healing promotes overall well-being through detoxification of the body’s energy channels, and can positively improve an individual's physical energy, psychological awareness, emotional intelligence, sleep cycles and minor joint pain.
